YOU'RE STRONGER THAN YOU REALIZE

This quarter of school has proven to be the toughest one of my college career so far. I don't want to sit here and complain, but I'm feeling worn out, stretched thin, but still super grateful for where I'm at! By the grace of God I am still able to workout and serve at my church consistently.

Why is this relevant? Because CrossFit has taught me that I'm stronger than I thought I was. There has been plenty of times in workouts when I thought there was no way I'd be able pick that barbell up again, or row another odd number of meters. But it's crazy what can be accomplished when you just go for it. I've been given the opportunity in many workouts to be able to test that out.

SPIRITUAL FITNESS IMPACTS YOUR PHYSCIAL FITNESS

And this totally correlates to real life. Crossfit weightlifterEveryday of the week I either have class, work, church or coaching. All of this while trying to have friends, set aside time to read my bible and have a decent prayer life is tough. While I believe God has a plan and His will will ultimately be done, I believe that there is favor and blessings in grinding it out for what you are passionate about.

Proverbs 20:13 "Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare." And while God is my rock and fortress, He has totally used CrossFit to teach me lessons in perseverance. I like to think CrossFit builds up my physical and spiritual fitness.
