There is this idea going around our box that you should wear natural deodorant. Primal Pit Paste to be exact. Apparently regular deodorant clogs your sweat glands and gives you cancer.
In all of my classes I stress that our main goal is to MAKE FITNESS FUN! So when the boys in my middle school class asked if we could play Ultimate Frisbee, I couldn’t set up the cones and goals fast enough! The game had turned out to be more intense and physically demanding than any WOD we had programmed for them.
CrossFit has taught me that I'm stronger than I thought I was. There has been plenty of times in workouts when I thought there was no way I'd be able pick that barbell up again, or row another odd number of meters. But it's crazy what can be accomplished when you just go for it. I've been given the opportunity in many workouts to be able to test that out.
