I’ve always loved playing sports. I played soccer in high school, I ran high school Cross Country and ran Track and Field in high school and college. I love being active outdoors! Road and mountain bike riding, running and swimming are some of my favorite things to do!
I always had a desire to share my love of health and fitness with people and continue to improve my own fitness, so I became of Certified Personal Trainer in 2003 and worked in a gym after college. When I started having kids, I opened my own Personal Training Business and trained singles, mini groups and large groups in my garage, at parks, even at the local pool! I always had a blast training people, especially groups. It’s always fun to sweat together and encourage each other!
I was introduced to CrossFit in 2008, and I fell in love with every gasping breath. I haven’t stopped CrossFitting since! My favorite thing about CrossFit is how it is for everyone, it doesn’t matter what level of fitness you are, the workout can be scaled for you. I love how CrossFit has made me move better. My life outside of CrossFit is healthier because of what we do inside the box. I love the community of CrossFit. At Yucaipa CrossFit, we have a group of the most encouraging people and we cheer for everyone and celebrate everything from someone’s first pull-up, to someone finishing a WOD for the first time!
I love being a part of people’s lives and encouraging them along their road of better health. I’m so lucky to be a coach at Yucaipa CrossFit!!
